There have been serious crashes in Omagh and Banbridge.

One car was involved in an incident on the main Omagh to Newtownstewart Road, which happened just after 1pm on Sunday in the Co Tyrone town.

The extent of injuries is not known.

The road was closed for a time but has now been reopened.

Meanwhile the Castlewellan Road at Ballyward, Banbridge was closed in both directions at its junction with Station Road and Cargarry Road due to another crash on Sunday.

The road has now re-opened.
