'Serious assault' in west Belfast

A 38-year-old man has received a serious head injury after being assaulted outside a bar in west Belfast.

It is believed the man was injured during an altercation outside a bar on the Glen Road on Saturday shortly after 11.30pm.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast for treatment.
Anyone who witnessed the altercation is asked to contact the police.
