Security alert in Monkstown

Police have carried out searches in Newtownabbey after a report of a device in the area.

The searches have taken place in the Ards Drive area of Monkstown.
Police have asked members of the public to contact them if they find any suspicious objects or notice anything out of the ordinary.
If anyone finds anything suspicious they are asked not touch or attempt to move any item and contact local PSNI immediately.
