Scratch card stolen at knifepoint

A man armed with a knife has stolen a lottery scratch card from a shop in Carnmoney, Co Antrim.

It happened at around 6.50pm on Saturday in the Glebe Road West area.

A staff member was threatened but not hurt.

The thief made his getaway on a push bike in the direction of Queen's Park.

He has been described as being of above average height, with short dark hair and was wearing a long sleeve grey top and blue jeans.

Police have asked anyone with more information to come forward.

He stole a scratch card? Just one? He sounds a right desperado. Be lucky if he won a quid on it anyway, but even if he did win, they're all serial numbered and sequenced so he can't cash it. The criminal genius probably used his own bike too.

what kind of idiot would risk going to jail for stealing a scratch card?i hope he gets caught soon as i think he is a dangerous man, who in their right mind would threaten anybody with a weapon for such a low value item?
