A teenager has been charged with riotous behaviour after a petrol bomb was thrown at police officers during a search operation in Dunmurry.

A crowd of youths threw stones and bottles after the PSNI found suspected class B and C drugs at a property in the Glenbawn Avenue area on Saturday night.

No officers were hurt.

One man, aged 17, was arrested. He will now face charges of riotous behaviour and criminal damage when he appears before Lisburn Youth Court on 7 September.

Another 27-year-old man has been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug, possessing a class B controlled drug with intent to supply, possessing a class C controlled drug and possessing a class C controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is due before Lisburn Magistrates Court on 13 September.
