A member of staff who was working outside the restaurant at Fountain Hill was forced inside the building by a man shortly before 10am. Police said he appeared to be armed with a handgun.

The man then stole a small sum of money from a cash register and made off towards a grass embankment in the direction of the Stiles estate.

The thief is described as 30-35 years of age, 5'4 - 5'6 in height, with a medium build.

He was wearing blue/black jacket and blue denim jeans, and was carrying a blue and green travel bag.
