Raid uncovers £40k of cannabis

A quantity of cannabis valued at around £40,000 has been uncovered by police during a raid in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

The drugs discovery was made by officers in a planned search of a house in the Duneany Road area of Glarryford on Wednesday.

A 34-year-old woman has been charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

She is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates' Court next month.

Why dont the legislators legalise this stuff and take away the need to make it a profitable item much like ALCOHOL and CIGARETTES ,they all do damage and ALL of them are a massive strain on the NHS POLICE CUSTOMS etc , oh I forgot The Governments of Some countries make a lot out this trade through the DRUGS BARONS who are the puppets of WESTERN Governments like AFGHAN .......
