Andrew Allen was shot dead by Republican Action Against Drugs (RAAD) in February, after he was ordered out of Derry by the vigilante group.
Now his brother Daniel has been told his life is under threat by the same group. He has been told to get out of Derry by 6pm on Wednesday, or he will be shot, but the father of three has already left the city.
"I could not go through it again," his mother Donna told UTV. "I want the threat lifted off Daniel. Just leave us alone."
"He is a broken man himself cause of his brother, and now he has to leave three young children," she added.
Michael Doherty, of the Peace and Reconciliation Group, said along with Rosemount Resource Centre they have helped around 80 people ordered to leave Derry.
"It's getting out of hand," he said.
"My understanding is that RAAD has teamed up with the Real IRA. They've got themselves into one group so that's a worry on its own."
SDLP Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has called for the threat against Daniel Allen and one other man to be lifted.
"I call on the group who issued this threat to lift it immediately, they have no authority in this community to impose sentences on any of my constituents, nor anyone else.
"The actions of this group, despite intervention made by me and the Rosemount Resource Centre, is simply unacceptable and the disruption to these men's lives and their families' lives is unforgivable," he added.
"I am seeking to engage in further dialogue alongside local stakeholders to ensure that these two men have the threat against them lifted."
