The body of a man, aged in his 20s, has been found in the Portrush area of Co Antrim.

It was discovered on Wednesday evening and at this stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The body has not been formally identified, but the PSNI believe it may be missing person Marc Mackay, from Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

The 24-year-old was last seen in the Harbour area of Portrush at around 1am on Sunday, 3 August.

There are no further details.
