A man has been charged after police uncovered a cannabis factory in Ballygowan, Co Down.

Detectives from the Organised Crime Branch found more than £100,000 of the drug when they searched a property in the town on Tuesday.

A 43-year-old man is facing charges of cultivation of cannabis and possession of cannabis.

He is due to appear at North Down Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

That is an absolute joke and a waste of tax payers money, there is no way that is £100k worth and as Phil says they are no way in hell near harvest! Its about to be legalized in Ireland! Should be tackling under aged drinking in Status but police promote that!

It's not really clear if they got plants or actual cannabis. The plants in the picture above look to be a long way from harvest. Dunno how they can come up with 100k. Jokers!
