Police seize £2.5m cannabis at port

A man has been arrested after police seized £2.5m of cannabis on its way from Scotland to Ireland.

It is understood the drugs were found in a van at a ferry terminal in Cairnryan, Dumfries and Galloway on Friday night.
Police believe the haul was heading for Ireland.
A 39-year-old Bolton man was arrested and is expected to appear before Stranraer Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
