Jonathon Peter Neill
Police have launched a search for a convicted murderer who has gone missing while on a phased-release scheme.

Jonathan Peter Neill, 34, was last seen in the Molesworth Road area of Cookstown on Monday morning.

He was in the latter stages of a phased-release scheme from Maghaberry Prison.

Neill was convicted of murdering a man in London in 1991 when he was 16-years-old, and has convictions for burglary.

He is 6ft 3in, of slim build with black hair and brown eyes, and has scars on his left wrist and right hand.

Police have appealed for information and warned the public not to approach him.
