Police officer injured in Belfast crash

A police officer has been injured in a two-vehicle crash in Belfast city centre.

The incident between a police car and another vehicle happened on May Street just after 3pm on Friday.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and paramedics attended to the officer's injuries, which were described as not life threatening.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have information in relation to the incident has been asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000.
