Police investigate Belfast robberies
A man armed with a hand gun has robbed a news agent's on the Ormeau Road.

Just before 12 o'clock on Saturday he forced his way into the shop and threatened staff before taking money and cigarettes.

He made off in a blue car driven by a second man along Knockbreda Park.

Meanwhile in a separate incident at a bookmaker's in North Belfast was robbed.

Three men, one believed to armed with a knife, entered the premises in Northumberland Street around 6.10pm on Friday night.

They made off with a sum of cash.
