They were held on Tuesday morning following the incident on the Doagh Road.
A man carrying a handgun banged the back door of the house at around 9am.
He threatened a 42-year-old woman at gunpoint and demanded to be let in, but then fled without entering the house and made off with two other men in a silver Astra car.
The woman had phoned her husband and as he was on his way home, he saw the attacker's car and followed it in his van to Mossvale Road.
The gang stopped their car and one of them got out and smashed the windscreen of the man's van, before speeding off towards New Mossley.
The men, three of whom are believed to be 27 and the other 24, were detained after police stopped the car on the Andersonstown Road in west Belfast.
The car has been seized by police for examination.
