Man killed in Fermanagh hit-and-run

A man, aged in his 50s, has died after he was hit by a car in an early morning incident in Co Fermanagh.

The incident happened in the Tullychurry Road area of Belleek just before 3am on Sunday.

Police believe the man was struck by a car which failed to stop at the scene.

Investigating officers are searching for a blue Ford Focus car which will have damage to the front end of the vehicle.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area before or after the time of the incident and saw a car matching that description, to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

how can any human being do this to another human being and drive on. one wouldnt even do it to an animal on the road, i hope they are caught and caught soon and face the consequences of their action. please do the decent thing and hand yourself in
