Trouble erupted between groups of youths, police said, at around 10.30pm.

Police said between three and four bins were set on fire during the disturbance.

A police spokesman said: "For public safety reasons the road was closed for a short period, while clergy and members of the local community assisted police in resolving the situation quickly."

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the trouble to contact investigating officers.

it makes me laugh how this story did not become the the top news, where as if the unionist/loyalist youth had done something like this it would top news for months, the unionist/loyalist community where fantastic over the 12th period, and the only thing that the news could report on them, was a child getting her face painted red white and blue, the media need to stop being so one sided, making the unionist/ loyalist people look like thugs and the republicans look like heros. (I also would bet that this post will not be allowed on the page)
