It was reported to police that a car drove by a house at Station Road, Letterbreen on Sunday at about 3.25am and a petrol bomb was thrown at the property.

"No one is believed to have been injured during the incident and enquiries are continuing," a police spokesperson said.

Police want to speak to the driver of a dark coloured Audi estate car which was seen in the area at the time of the incident, who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The PSNI are appealing to anyone who witnessed the petrol bombing to come forward.
