John Goodchild, from the Carrickfergus area, went missing on Tuesday evening.

The 65-year-old's car was found at the Blackhead car park in Whitehead, and his body was located on Wednesday afternoon.

He was pulled from the water close to the harbour at Whiteabbey, and police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.

"It is believed that the death occurred as a result of a tragic accident," added a PSNI spokesperson.
