The men entered the house in the Drumnacanvy Road area shortly before 3pm on Thursday.

The elderly resident who was in the property at the time challenged the intruders.

The pair searched a number of drawers in the house before making off in a red coloured car.

It is not believed anything was taken during the incident, and the woman was left badly shaken but uninjured.

One of the men is described as being approximately 30-years-old, heavy build, with a round face. The second man is described as being in his 20s, medium build, with a long face.
