A 16-week-old pedigree puppy has been stolen in east Belfast.

The Lhasa Apso pup, named Missy, was taken during the burglary of a house in the Lewis Drive area.

The property was broken into sometime between 11pm on Friday and 6.45am on Saturday.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area or anyone who knows the whereabouts of the puppy to contact them.
