Pedestrians hurt in Central Station crash

Two pedestrians are critically ill after sustaining serious head injuries following a crash outside Central Station in Belfast.

They remain in intensive care following the one vehicle collision on East Bridge Street at around 7.15pm on Friday.

A third man was also treated in hospital after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

East Bridge Street has reopened to traffic following the incident.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them in South Belfast.

Its no wonder some one has been knocked here because the street lighting is none exsistant!! I travel this way to and from work each day and its near impossible to see pedestrians.
