Pedestrian hurt in city collision

A female pedestrian has been taken to hospital after she was knocked down by a car in north Belfast.

The woman suffered a head injury following the collision with the Blue Peugeot vehicle in the North Queen Street area in the city on Friday.

A PSNI spokeswoman said North Queen Street was closed for a time at its junction with Carrick Hill and New Lodge Road, but has since reopened.

There are no further details.
