Gordon Deery, who was from the Tamlaght area, was killed following the collision with a blue coloured Vauxhall car on the Enniskillen to Belfast Road at around 11.50pm on Friday.

"A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries," a PSNI spokesman said.

Detectives have asked anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them in Enniskillen on the non-emergency number 101.

"Police are particularly keen to speak with any pedestrians or motorists who were in the area of the Belfast Road, Tamlaght around the time of the collision," the spokesman added.

The Belfast Road has re-opened following the collision.
