According to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA), the DUP man's costs totalled £232,042 as of the start of April.
This takes in staffing, travel and accommodation expenses.
Mr Paisley has defended the costs as "unavoidable".
Strangford MP Jim Shannon, also of the DUP, was the second highest claimant at £220,198.
In total, members of Parliament claimed just under £24m for the financial year.
