Pair face 88 charges over ATM thefts

Two men are facing a total of 88 charges linked to the theft of money from ATMs in Newry, Banbridge and Belfast.

Police said cash was stolen from the machines using a cash trapping device over a period of a week between 26 October and 1 November.
The two men, aged 27 and 32, were charged by the PSNI's E District Tactical Crime Unit.
They will face 88 counts - including theft, going equipped for theft, criminal damage and possession of articles for use in frauds - at Newry Magistrates' Court on Monday.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
