The pair, aged 24 and 21, were detained following report of the incident at Kennedy Way roundabout.

At around 10.55am, it was reported that a stolen VW Jetta car was travelling along the Whiterock Road area when it was believed to have collided with a red Hyundai i20 car in the area.

It is believed that the vehicle was stolen from the Joanmount Drive in north Belfast at around 5.30am.

Following the collision, a man who was driving the Hyundai was taken to a nearby hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

The stolen car is also believed to have been involved in a two vehicle road traffic incident at the Monagh By-Pass before 11am.

Both men were arrested at the Broadway Roundabout area after leaving the scene at Kennedy Way in the stolen car and are currently helping police with their enquiries.

No doubt when these guys appear in a Court the Judge will not jail them. After all, that would deprive the general public from a chance of having their property stolen, destroyed etc. and if we're lucky a trip to the hospital.
