Joseph McCabe, who is on release, was last seen in Belfast at around 9.45pm on Tuesday 2 April.

He pleaded guilty to rape and burglary with intent to steal in the Belfast area in September 2006, during proceedings at a courthouse in Antrim.

Members of the public have been warned not to approach the 29-year-old.

He is described as being 6ft tall with short, dirty fair hair.

Anyone who sees him is asked to contact the PSNI immediately.

Police have also appealed for McCabe to hand himself in at the nearest station.
