A police vehicle has been involved in a three car crash in Ballymena, Co Antrim on Monday morning.

It happened on Linenhall Street in the town at around 8.50am.

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene, taking three people - two of whom were police officers - to Antrim Area Hospital.

A police spokesperson said it is not believed that anyone has sustained life threatening injuries.

The Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland (PONI) has been advised.

There are no further details.
