Police are appealing for information after a woman was found seriously injured in a house in Limavady on Thursday evening.

Danielle Allen, 27, was found in a house at Glenmore Gardens in the Co Londonderry town and rushed to hospital.

She was described by police as being in a serious, but stable, condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on Monday morning.

PSNI detectives working on the case are trying to establish how Ms Allen received her injuries.

They are trying to trace her movements on Thursday, prior to the incident.

Anyone who saw Ms Allen on Thursday afternoon or early evening is asked to contact detectives in Limavady on the non-emergency number 101.

The independent charity Crimestoppers can also be contacted on 0800 555 111 by those who would prefer to pass on information anonymously.
