The crash, involving a Toyota Corolla car and a police vehicle, happened on the Boa Island Road in the Co Fermanagh village at around 12.45am on Wednesday.

The male driver of the Toyota and three police officers were taken to hospital for treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"Two of the officers have since been released from hospital," a PSNI spokesman said.

The Boa Island Road, which was closed to traffic as the police investigation into the crash continues, has reopened.
