Off licence staff held at gun point

An employee of an off licence in south Belfast has been pushed to the ground during an armed robbery.

Friday, 20 November 2009

Two men, armed with a gun and a knife, burst into the premises on the Ormeau Road at around 8pm on Thursday night.

The staff member was ordered to open the till and the safe and pushed to the ground.

Although not hurt, he was left badly shaken

The robbers escaped with cash.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
