It is part of CEOP's international day of action called Safer Internet Day.
The aim of the event is to highlight ways in which parents can protect their children as they play, learn and communicate online.
Michael O'Neill said: "It's very reassuring to know that CEOP offer advice and guidance on internet safety for parents and children and I would urge everyone to avail of it.
"The internet is a great educational tool for children but as a parent, you're anxious to know that your children are safe whilst online.
"It's fantastic to see the Irish FA working alongside CEOP to help promote such an important message."
The CEOP Centre will be launching its 'Parents' and Carers' Guide to the Internet' on Tuesday.
It is presented as a short, TV-style programme which looks at the challenges of bringing up children in an online world.
A preview is available on the CEOP website, with the full version to follow.
