Searches began last Tuesday but detectives said they were not looking for human remains.
Instead, it is understood the PSNI was searching for a vehicle that may have been used in the murder.
Lisa was 25 when she disappeared after a party at a caravan park in Ballyhalbert, just miles from her Co Down home, in February 2005.
Extensive searches have been carried out and several people have been arrested, but Lisa's body has never been found.
