Arrests during dissident operation
A man and woman have been arrested in Armagh by police investigating suspected dissident republican activity.

They were detained in the city early on Sunday morning.

On Saturday, two men were charged in connection with the same police operation.

The pair, aged 21 and 23, are accused of two counts of possessing explosives.

The 21-year-old man is also charged with possessing items likely to be of use to terrorism.

They are expected to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

Detectives also arrested three people on Saturday after several searches of a number of houses in the Armagh City area.
