A Polish bakery has been ordered to close after dead mice were found on the Greysteel premises
A Polish bakery in Greysteel has been given a court order to shut down.

It is the fourth time in a year the Old Polish Bakery has been closed on environmental health grounds.

The application to close the premises was brought by Limavady Borough Council which said the bakery posed an imminent risk to human health.

Council officers inspected the bakery on Tuesday and found two dead mice under a freezer and a third mouse inside a container of treacle.

Speaking through an interpreter, bakery owner Rafal Strong said he would do "all that is required" to rectify the problem.
