Two men have been tied up during a robbery at a house in east Belfast.

The incident happened in the Kensington Avenue area of Ballyhackamore on Saturday.

Four men broke in at around 10.15pm and tied the 23 and 21-year-old residents up before ransacking the property.

They made off with electrical equipment and money in a white Suzuki Swift vehicle, which was stolen at the crime scene.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment on injuries sustained during the attack - his condition is not life-threatening.

The other victim was not hurt.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
