Three men who were arrested after an armed gang held a man hostage while his partner handed over ransom money have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Four armed men forced their way into the couple's south Belfast property at around 9.30pm on Thursday.
The woman was then forced to drive to her place of work on the Boucher Road in Belfast and remove money from the safe, while her partner was taken away in a van.
After the money was handed over to some of the gang who followed the woman, the man was released unharmed.
Another couple and two children were also detained at gunpoint as part of the so-called tiger kidnapping.
Police investigating the incident want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a light-coloured van acting suspiciously in the Stewart's Street area, or a Renault Scenic car acting suspiciously in the Markets area.
