Two men arrested in connection with the attempted murder of police officer Peadar Heffron in County Antrim have been released unconditionally.
Constable Heffron had to have his right leg amputated after he was critically injured when a dissident republican bomb exploded under his car.
The Irish-speaking captain of the PSNI Gaelic football team had just left his Randalstown home early on January 8 to start work in west Belfast when the device exploded.
The men, who were arrested in north and west Belfast on Monday, were released without charge on Tuesday.
