Men charged with off-licence robbery

Two men are due in court following an attempted armed robbery of an off-licence in Armagh.

The pair, aged 27 and 28, have been charged with attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and theft.
The charges relate to an attempted armed robbery of an off-licence in the Killylea Road area of the city on Sunday.
Both men are expected to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Monday.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
