Men charged in kidnapping probe

A 39-year-old man and a 55-year-old man have been charged with kidnap, false imprisonment and blackmail following a number of arrests at the weekend.

The men were charged following a number of arrests in the Omagh area of Co Tyrone on Saturday and Sunday.
The 55-year-old man was arrested in Scotland.
Both men are due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Four men and one woman were arrested in the raids.
A 38-year-old woman was released unconditionally on Tuesday and 28-year-old man was released on bail Monday.
One man remains in police custody, after police were given a further 36 hours to question them.
