It is thought the incident, which happened just after 10pm on Saturday, was an attempt to intimidate those living in the Albert Street property.

No shots were fired during the incident and no-one was injured.

Investigating officers have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Unarmed people can be attacked with greater confidence than those that are armed. The bad people have guns anyway so why not arm ordinary people so they can protect their homes. It is not like the police are any use but the time they came out the criminals could have made it to Bangor on foot.
