Five people were shot dead - four men and a boy aged 15 - at Sean Graham's on the Ormeau Road in 1992.

Around 200 people turned out on Sunday to mark the occasion, which included a minute's silence at exactly the time the attack was carried out.

The memorial stone bears the names of those who were killed by the two gunmen, who carried out the attack using a rifle and a Browning pistol.

No-one has ever been convicted of the murders.

Tommy Duffin, whose father was one of those killed, says many questions remain unanswered.

"It was an atrocity that definitely could have been avoided," he told UTV.

"All the families are looking for is truth, they're not looking for anybody to be locked up they just want the truth.

"If they get the truth, this will be put to bed."

Folks inquiries are a thing of the past. These families are seeking the truth without heads rolling in terms of prosecutions. They haven`t got a snowballs chance in hell in getting at the truth as with most victims on all sides. So great was the collusion accross the board, all of it a serious threat to the peace process that nothing will be allowed to destabelise. Owen patterson confirmed on Hearts and Minds that the british tax payer will be picking up no more bills for inquiries and it will be up to the executive to fund any in the future from their block fund. The bloody Sunday inquirey served its purpose in more than one way as it was a gravy train allowed to run and run financially ( with no benefit to the victims families apart from an apoligy) that Mc Guiness said would have been suffice all those years ago. Add those two statements up with the fact that MI6 and just about everyone were buddies for decades. What chance anyone in Stornmont would want an honest inquirey even if they could afford it. The first casuality in this war is going to be the last as well.

Really, John. I believe the families of the victims in Kingsmill are calling for an inquiry into collusion. Quit you mopery and put your support where your mouth is. Of course, you could just be some sort of a troll who does nothing other than comment on "themuns."

John, how exactly do you come to that conclusion? If evidence of collusion is unearthed when reviewing any of the murders committed then of course there should be an enquiry. It is worth pointing out that no enquiry has been granted to these people as yet, and the report issued yesterday was put together by the families using evidence unearthed by HET. Anyone else who thinks they have evidence of collusion can and should put forward their case in the same way - I don't see how you can draw the conclusion that they are 'more likely' to get an enquiry than 'victims of republican violence' other than through your own prejudice.

Whilst people will dispute what John has said, he does have a point. Police/ruc etc can all be traced due to serial numbers and records etc. Cowards who hid behind a balaclava cannot be brought to justice.

The evidence put forward by these families came in part from the HET review of this massacre. Any case whereby evidence of collusion is uncovered must be investigated further but we cannot have enquiries into every murder committed over forty years. This isn't about the fact that these people were Catholic civilians or murdered by Loyalists as opposed to Republicans, it's about the compliance of the state in the murders and the apparent cover-up that followed.
