Man detained on European arrest warrant

A man from the Republic of Ireland is due in court in Belfast after he was detained under a European Arrest Warrant.

The 45-year-old, who is from Co Roscommon, was arrested in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh on Tuesday.
He will appear before Belfast Recorders Court on Wednesday.
Police said the arrest warrant was issued after the man failed to notify Garda of a change in place of residence as required by the sex offenders act of 2001.
