A man has been injured in a stabbing in north Belfast early on Saturday.

The 31-year-old victim had just left a bar on the Cliftonville Road, close to the junction with Manor Street, when he was assaulted.

He was stabbed three times in the upper back by two unknown attackers and was treated in hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
