A 19-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a one vehicle crash in Carrickmore, Co Tyrone.

The collision, which happened on Creggan Road, was reported to police at around 3.15am on Saturday.

The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries and remains in a serious condition.

Creggan Road remained closed until Saturday afternoon, but has since re-opened.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
