The 32-year-old was held for questioning after Mrs Evans, a 69-year-old former business woman known as Margo, was found dead in her Knockancor Drive home on Wednesday afternoon.

It is believed that police had been questioning one of the victim's sons.

The local community has been left stunned by the death of the well-known former salon owner.

Last week, the officer in charge of the investigation appealed for information.

Detective Chief Inspector Una Jennings particularly asked "anyone in the community who saw, spoke to, or met with any member of the Evans family in recent days" to get in touch with officers.

SO sad for all the family. Such a nice lady. I would have seen her in the summer time.
