A man who was arrested over a north Belfast murder has been released.

The body of 50-year-old Pascal McAfee, known as Basil, was found at his house on Henderson Avenue, in the Cavehill Road area of the city, at around 1pm last Friday.

He had been stabbed to death.

Police were questioning a 34-year-old man who was arrested in the south Belfast area. He was released unconditionally on Thursday afternoon.
