The 57-year-old was arrested after the body of the 30-year-old man was discovered in the Carrick Hill area on Sunday afternoon.

He has been released pending further inquiries.

PSNI Serious Crime Branch officers carried out examinations at a scene at Donegall Lane in Belfast city centre over the weekend.

All cordons in the area have now been lifted but investigations are continuing.

Police are appealing for anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area between 7.15pm and 7.30pm on Saturday to contact them.

A post-mortem is to be held to establish the cause of what officers described as the man's "sudden death".
