Man released in Tang murder probe

A man arrested in connection with the murder of Chinese businessman Simon Tang has been released unconditionally.

Mr Tang died 16 years ago when he was attacked during a robbery outside his takeaway in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim. He was 28 years old.
Police detained a 39-year-old man on suspicion of murder on Monday morning.
He was taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning and was released unconditionally later that day.
Three men and two women have been charged with offences linked to the June 1996 murder in previous months.
